1. Our Ambition
In NatCo: This was the first and very important session of NatCo 2013. During this session the delegates went through a personal dreaming and creative process followed by the appreciative enquiry process.
All the 6 final groups had time to present their main ideas. Each group came up with a representative for the consolidation team, which was supported by the MCP and MCPe.
These last 8 people were the final responsibles for the 2015 statements creation!
In your LC: In your LC you should keep the dreaming process to create the vision of your LC for 2105. However you should keep the statements and culture. Just adapt it, e.g.
-
Every young person in our Allocated Universities recognizes and has access to an experience with AIESEC.
-
Our University recognizes us as a youth leadership development organization.
-
AIESEC in my LC develops the life-lasting experience that our society needs.
2. Our Leadership
In NatCo: This was the second session of NatCo 2013. During this session the delegates discussed about Leadership, their role models and if we were developing the right leadership.
In the end everybody was happy to agree that our Leadership Promise would be the same created in Start 2013, 7 months before, "Our connected and values-driven leadership makes it happe".
The goal of this session was to connected the delegates with the purpose of the organization and to think about what kind of experiences we want to deliver and what kind of leaders do we want to provide to the world.
In your LC: In your LC it's very important to talk about the leaders you want to create. Create this kind of discussion, AIESECers genuinely like to talk about leadership. In end you should reach a conclusion aligned with "Our connected and values-driven leadership makes it happen."
3. Our Goals
In NatCo: This was the third session of NatCo 2013. After defining the Statements and Leadership promise, came the moment to define the Measures of Success for 2015 - How many ELD Experiences did we want to provide in 2015?!
This session started with the presentation with a lot of data from the analysis done by the in the previous months. After a deep analysis and some conclusions taken by the delegates it was time for them to discuss, in LCs, the goals for 2015.
Every LC introduced their numbers and in the end the average was presented, almost 4000 XPs!
In your LC: This is the moment to present the analysis previously done by the EB and for the LC to decide together how many experiences want to provide in 2014 and 2015.
It is strongly recommended that you take at least 2 hours to go through the analysis and discuss in which programs can you focus.
You can make the final decision through different ways: every votes and you make the average, you present 3/4 different options and they have to vote in one or any other creative way.
Don't forget: Is by achieving the MoS that you achieve your Statements as well.
The Process
The following documents represent the AIESEC Portugal 2015 Dreaming Process during NatCo. This is the process we recommend to be implemented in your LC.
The LC Planning Process 14.15
The following documents represent the AIESEC in your LC Planning process for 14.15
1. The Flow
ANALYSIS: This phase must happen during Transition. This is the phase to research all the information. More information about all the analysis required here.
DRAW: This phase is divided into 3 parts:
1. Once you get all the information, is time for EB Planning Days! During this phase all the information gathered during ANALYSIS phase should be presented in a structured way, as well discussed. Conclusions and ideas will naturally occur with a prepared flow of dicussion.
2. The EB defines it's stand, the experience they want to live and the legacy they want to live for the term.
3. The EB goes through the DREAM process. This way, the EB will be more prepared for the DREAM process with the rest of the LC.
2. The Support Guide
This Guide has in all detail what you can do to ensure the best Planning Process for your LC in each phase of it.
3. The Tool
Comming until the end of February
Features:
-
Draw, Dream and Think blocks.
-
Communication Plan
-
General Timeline
-
EB Stand and Responsabilities
-
MoS Goal & Traking
-
LC 2015 Direction
DREAM: This is the phase that you must engage all your LC. You should follow the same process from NatCo 2013, explained above.
THINK: This phase is divided in 4 parts:
1. With the inputs from the LC in the previous phase, define the main projects for the LC to achieve the 3 statements of AIESEC in Portugal for 2015 and the KPIs per project.
2. Build the LC Budget.
3. Create the General Timeline for the term based on the LC Projects.
4. Define responsabilities, priorities, Key Performance Indicators, expected results, deadlines and support needed per Functional Area.
NOTE: You can do some of this points still with the LC and we advice you to do that, specially the Functional strategies for the year, but at some point you will have to plan some things in EB.
